127 measures the objective of which is to reduce of 30 % greenhouse gas emissions before 2030, to enrich parks and to clean up rivers. Well-heard (understood), this plan (shot) is already very controversial but in a country where the president Bush refused himself to ratify the Kyoto protocol, to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, such a step (initiative) on behalf of a mayor is a good sign of positive change!And there are similar measures in California thanks to the commitment of the governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Other example of sustainable development in New York: a park of marine turbines will produce some electricity.

Six marine turbines of a production capacity of 35 KW each will soon begin to produce some electricity near the Island Roosevelt in New York. It is about the first commercial project of this type in the United States.
